Office will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024. We will reopen on May 28, 2024 at our normal business hours.
For the past several years, the City of Coolidge has contracted with the city of Thomasville to pick up garbage and yard and leaf trimmings. Coolidge pays Thomasville $13.00 per garbage container for the yard and leaf trimmings and charges residential users $14.00. The number one complaint we hear from citizens is about dogs. On Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 5:30 pm , the city council will have a work session with Thomas County Animal Control to determine what we can do to address the dog problems in Coolidge. You are encouraged to attend.
